Digital transformation promises are only loosely related to digitalization. Many of the transformational requirements – breaking silos, becoming agile, and others – are not related to digitalization: they are good practices in running an efficient organization. Digitalization supports this transformation, but doesn’t drive it.


Understanding of the possibilities and requirements of digital technologies must be combined with the analysis of the internal and external business processes. Understanding how they can be impacted and changed is essential.
